Note from Shannon: I've just had an operation on my ears, so I'm finding it hard to concentrate right now. I'll be uploading new stlye guides as soon as I feel better, which I'm beginning to already, so it shouldn't be long now. Also, in regards to what Samantha has said in this update, we know that it sounds harsh to 'demand' comments, but it is really sad that all our fantastic visitors, who used to post soooo many comments per update, have all... disappeared. We hate to sound bossy/rude, but if you don't care about the updates, we won't post them. So let us know if you do.

It took me a while to make these, but I made some guides. This past week, I started my freshman year of high school. So now, "Fifteen" applies to me now, yay! Not my favorite song by her, but I do like it. Anyway, before I get off the subject, I have something to say. Other than the words that I'm saying. Right now.

It has not passed the staff's notice that the amount of comments the past month or two have gone down a lot. We (myself included) like to know that our updates are appreciated, because we don't have to do it, you know. Instead of doing hours of work on guides, pictures, layouts, etc., we could do something else doing our spare time (which, for some, is not much). We don't want to crack down, but it seems like that's what we have to do in order to know if people give a dang about whether we update this site or not.

If I don't get at least three comments from three different people, then I will not update again for a while. PLEASE don't make me do that!

SAMANTHA: I managed to make some guides for today. Tomorrow school starts. This summer went by so fast. I had the best vacation in the best city in all of Texas, and I met a new friend at a music camp.

This was posted on August 1st, not July 20th.

I did TRY to post this halfway through my holiday, but the computers in the hotel were far busier than I expected so I only got on there once for 20 minutes... and then I got a little carried away talking to my friends on MSN and trying to work out the Spanish-style keyboard.

Anyway, I'm back now (I literally got home about 10 minutes ago) so I thought I should just approve this because I don't like to break promises, and, if I don't post it now, I'm bound to fall asleep or something (I only got 4 and a half hours sleep last night due to flying). I had a great holiday, thankyou to those of you that wished me well! It was literally one of the best times I've had in my life, I've never felt so emotionally attached to a place the way I did to the hotel. My room number was... wait for it... number thirteen-thirteen. Taylor would definitely approve.

It's strange to be back. Before, when I looked out the window, I had a gorgeous sea view. Now, when I look out the window, I have a view of a house... and some clouds. Nice.

NOTE We have a new member of staff, the lovely Monika, who has been donating for a while now.

SO, as I've mentioned in the past few updates, I go on holiday to Ibiza for 11 days tonight (technically, I'm leaving my house at 2am tomorrow morning GMT, but personally I think of that as tonight). I've been so stressed out tidying up, packing, unpacking, repacking again, remembering I haven't packed things, weighing suitcases, sorting out my hand luggage, bathing, doing my hair, realising I accidentally packed the clothes I'm wearing on the plane ETC ETC that it's a good thing I can pretty much make guides on autopilot now, or I just wouldn't have had the time...

... still, I promised you a big update, and that's what you're getting. Here's 12 guides courtesy of myself, Samantha, Monika and the donaters. I'll also be posting some more guides that are on 'standby' in about a week, because my hotel has an internet cafe, which is pretty cool. I won't set a certain amount of comments required, but, if I don't see any comments, I won't bother posting the extra guides.

I keep hearing planes flying over my house (I live near London), and I'm getting really excited now :D

EDIT: Hey guys, It's Kristina. Just thought I'd let you know that I am back from camp [I went for about a week] & I will be here to update with a few icons and such in the next few days. Also, if any of the staff members need to contact Shannon about anything they could ask me as well, I'd probably be able to answer faster then Shannon.
