Hair 006

I absolutely, absolutely LOVE this look.

1. This works best for day old hair [hair that has been washed the day before styling] but make sure the hair is clean otherwise grease/dandruff/flakes/tangles/etc ruin the flawless appearence of this style. So check that your hair is clean, if it isn't then wash it well and blowdry in sections.

2. Note;If your hair is naturally curly like in this guide, you can skip this step and step 3, but you might want to use some elements of the steps to define your curls. Heat up a small curling iron and brush through your hair whilst it heats. Flip your hair over and brush the underside before the top to make your hair totally tangle-free. Apply heat defence and [only if you have a safety cover!] check to see if the curling iron is hot. If you don't have a safety cover, brush round your hair again to give the iron a little extra time to heat so that it's definitely hot when you start to use it.

3. Divide yourself a parting to the right of your head. Take a 1 to 2 inch section of hair and release the clip on your curling iron. Hold the clip open and wrap the section of hair around the barrell of the curling iron, wrapping all the hair right up to the roots. The easiest way to do this is to lift the section of hair above your hair as you wrap it to make it as easy to access the roots as you can, then use your fingers to hold the end of the hair and twist it downwards over the iron. The roots should be the first hair that wraps round and the ends the last - Taylor's roots are very defined. Continue this around your head [you may want to get a friend to help you with the back] until the curls are consistent all over the hair.

4. Take your bangs [or the front area of your hair if you don't have any bangs] and brush them to the right. Apply mousse and leave to set for a minute before splitting the bangs into half and wrapping each half around the curling iron like you did with the rest of your hair. If you need to, use the end of a tail comb to style the bangs into position like Taylor's. Spray your hair with a good quality, holding hairspray all over the head before the look can release - without the hairspray, it usually does fall quickly. You're finished!
