Makeup 009

1. Take a water based liquid foundation as close to your skin tone as you can find and apply a thin layer so that your skin is coated flawlessly without being masked. Try to follow a stroke pattern as you apply the foundation so that it appears smooth and natural. Remember to rub the foundation slightly onto your neck and blend round the edges of your face well so that no foundation lines appear. A foundation we reccomend is Benefit's 'You Rebel' SPF 15 tinted moisturizer.

2. Take a rose tinted blusher powder or cream and apply a small amount to the apples of your cheeks (to find these, smile and feel for the raised, slightly round area over your cheekbones) for a sweet pink glow. We reccomend Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush.

3. Buy some false black lashes and cut one of them in half. Follow the instructions on the pack to apply the most dramatic half to the outer edge of your natural eyelashes. Repeat for the other eye. Take a thin black eyepencil (the thinner it is, the more control over it you'll have) and line both your eyes carefully. Then take the pencil and, starting from the center of your eye, pull the pencil outwards (away from your nose) raising the pencil gradually as you go. Then fill in the new thick line. Use an eyepencil blender to smudge the black pencil mark outwards in a thick cateye. Apply mascara heavily to your lashes, gradually increasing the amount you use as your move outwards from the nose.

4. Find a creamy, silver kohl pencil and apply it round your eye, from around the tearduct, under the eye and up to meet the cateye you created earlier.

5. Take a glossy bronze lipstick and apply carefully to your lips. Be careful not to smudge outside the outside of the lip, though, or it will just look messy! Go round your lips with a cosmetics wipe after applying to keep it looking neat. Enjoy the look!
