Makeup 014

1. Wash your face with lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft cloth. You can use a toner or mosturiser if you wish.

2. Apply a water based foundation (for easy appliance and a flawless effect) the same color as your natural skin tone and apply it evenly, blending down the neck to stop foundation lines on your chin. Apply sparingly on your nose or you could end up with a pale face and dark nose, a shiny nose or just obvious foundation marks. None of which are that great, really.

4. Line your eyelids with a black kohl pencil. Be careful on the bottom eyelid, as this one looks pretty bad when it's messed up. Create a very slight cateye for a little added drama. Then, take a brown eyeshadow and apply it in even strokes following the natural curve of your eye and eyebrow and use a cosmetic brush to blend it upwards gradually towards the outer edge of your eye. Apply some black mascara to top the look.

5. Apply a rosy blush to the back of your cheekbones. Blend it down the bone towards your mouth to define the look. To find the backs, suck in your mouth as if making a fish face and your cheeks should sink. Run your fingers along the sunken area until you reach the end of the hollow and place your blusher brush there, then pull it down the hollow towards your mouth.

6. Apply some powder to your lips and smooth it across them for a smooth effect, then top it of with a bronze shade of lipgloss.
